Platform admins and HR wanted a high-level understanding of the company and its employees.

Home Page Dashboard

Home page content was not timely and often felt static, leading to a lack of attention and engagement from users.

I facilitated discussions with the core stakeholders and led the design of a new home page dashboard.

My goal was to prioritize timely, relevant content, which I defined as within a 3-week timeframe (past and future). Since the home page was often an intermediary page and not a destination, I designed the space to give users a better overview of events at a glance.

Search Improvements

As we introduced new types of employee data into the platform (e.g. groups, skills, interests), we needed to update our search experience to query and display that data. The search results page also lacked proper filtering capabilities, which are useful for larger companies. Finally, we wanted to highlight the advanced querying made possible by generative AI.
